Prep time:
Total time:
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ⅔ cup Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 cup Ice
  • 4-5 Strawberries
  • ¼ cup Strawberry Syrup
  • ¼ tsp Xanthan Gum (optional)
  • Whipped Cream
Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients other than whipped cream in blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream
Notes
*Xanthan gum is a thickener often used commercial foods, but home cooks are using it more often, especially for gluten free recipes. It can be purchased from Amazon, or your local natural grocer. I know that Now Foods and Bob's Red Mill both make this and are widely available.
