The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That: Wings and Things / Review and Giveaway

My daughter and I watched The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That: Wings and Things, yesterday for this review.  It is a PBS created program, where the Cat in the Hat leads his friends Sally and Nick on learning adventures.  Martin Short does the voice of The Cat, and I must say he was a terrific choice.  He inserts just the right inflections and quirkiness to The Cats voice.  The cartoon drawings are fun in a typically “Seusy” kind of way, and the songs are upbeat and catchy.

The stories featured on this DVD are:

Show Me The Honey (teaches about bees & honey making)
Migration Vacation (bird migration)
I Love the Nightlife (nocturnal animals)
Oh Give Me a Home! (hermit crab finds a home)
Many Ants Make Light Work (how ants work together)

The DVD runs approximately 60 minutes, and it also has additional bonus content.  There is also a Spanish language option on the DVD.  The release date for this DVD is September 7th, but you can pre-orderon NCirle.
