Tea Collection is one of my favorite places to buy Girl’s Clothing. Not only are the styles fashionable, but they are very durable, as well. I am not sure why, but they seem far more stain resistant than most of my daughter’s other clothes. This is very important when you are dressing a particularly messy 4 year old. Don’t let her cute little face fool you, this child can trash a room like a rock star in record time, and wears food very well…lol. Her Tea Collection dresses have all held up to the punishment, and still look good.

Children’s Clothing from Tea Collection make an excellent choice for holiday events. They also have Boy’s Clothing available. Your son or daughter will certainly look neat and stylish, yet feel comfortable. You won’t be chasing them about, trying to avoid them ruining their clothes. They can be free to enjoy themselves and play. Isn’t that really the point, for everyone to enjoy their time together?

I love that I can put my daughter in a Tea Collection dress for an event, then send her to school in the same dress the next week. Very few lines of clothing for kids are this flexible.

Special note for parents of children with sensory issues: My daughter has sensory issues. While generally she is a sensory seeker, she can not tolerate uncomfortable clothing. I have not had any problems with her wearing Tea Collection clothing. Yes, they do have tags and seams, but unless your child is exceptionally sensitive, they will probably be O.K. with most of the items from this maker.

Stylish Flip Flop Sandals Available Year-Round from Havaianas

I am a die hard flip flop wearer. I would wear them year round, but here in New England, that is a bit unrealistic, considering the cold snowy winters. I still wear them indoors during cold weather though.I am always on the lookout for Women’s Flip Flops with style. With a flip flop the color and style of the thong, it most important while wearing, but I often kick mine off while relaxing (that is part of the allure of them, the quick on & off), so the color or pattern on the sole is important too. I recently had the pleasure of selecting a True Royalty children’s T-shirt to review. The characters on these Tees are simply adorable. It was hard to pick, so I suggested a few and received this sleepy monarch butterfly for my daughter.

The first thing I noticed upon unwrapping the shirt has the quality of the fabric used. While I wouldn’t call it thick, it certainly seems quite durable, and the construction is also well done. This is a T-shirt that will not wear out or twist after a few washes. Considering it is 100% cotton, it also didn’t seem to shrink in the wash. The Tees run true to size. My daughter just grew out of 3T and has started wearing 4T clothing. The above pic was taken last week , and she is wearing a 4T in it. As you can see the length on these tees is good. If you want to tuck them in or pair them with leggings (as I did here), you should not have an issue.

All of the characters are original to the line, and are too cute for words. My other faves are the monkey & the bear. I also like that they embroider a logo patch on the back of the Tee, just below the collar. It is a nice detail.

School Uniforms from French Toast : Review and Giveaway

I was recently given the chance to pick out a few school uniform items for my daughter from French Toast, for review. The French Toast website has a large selection of options in school uniform attire, for both girls and boys, from toddler to teens. My daughter is only 3 1/2, so I picked a cute yellow polo with picot collar and some khaki shorts for her, from the toddler uniform section.

The clothes are quite well constructed, so important in school clothes. The items we received also ran true to size, and my daughter seemed comfortable in them. I really liked the polo. It was certainly more girlie with the picot collar and sleeve detail.

The clothes were reasonably priced, and I will probably order a few more polos for my daughter from them. She is not required to wear a uniform to school, but these polos are perfect for school anyway. A little more “dressed” than a T-shirt, but just as comfortable. In addition to shirts, pants, scooters & dresses, French Toast also carries all the accessories you will need for your child’s school uniforms.

Tea Collection: Durable Modern Styles for Children

I have always enjoyed browsing the Children’s Clothing selection on Tea Collection website. The styles are very modern and the designs themselves have always seemed practical to me. I finally got to try out some of their Girl’s Clothing on my daughter courtesy of this review, I am now a full convert.

My daughter loves new clothes, especially dresses, but I hate to dress her in clothes that limit her activities. If I am constantly going to have to hover over her, to ensure she does not ruin her outfit, it will only end out in a couple pictures then collect dust in the closet. Tea Collection clothing is designed for kids to comfortably wear and look good doing so.

I selected 2 lovely dresses for her: the Bandana Lace Print Dress & a Yoke dress with a great geometric print. Immediately upon their arrival, I was impressed with the quality of the construction of these dresses. They are sure to be handed down to another little girl once M grows out of them, and perhaps she will be handing them down, as well. Both dresses are practical for everyday wear, or special occasions.

The Bandana Dress pictured to the right, really made M light up when we put it on her. She made the biggest grin and ran over to the mirror and did a little dance. I like that not only does she look cute in it, but the elasticized sleeves are easy to push up, for hand washing.

The yoke dress (below) is my favorite though. It is soft durable printed cotton. We have only had it a short time, but it has quickly become a go-to outfit, so has already been laundered several times. It looks just as fresh right now as the day it came in, and doesn’t seem to have shrunk at all. It goes perfect with a pair of leggings in cooler weather, and will look great with sandals in the late spring/summer. The style will work well as a tunic too, so M will get several seasons lot of wear out of this.

Tea Collection offers many great versatile styles like this. Their ready made outfit sets are a great buys. Here are a couple of the current ones. It also gives you a peek at the great new spring line. Be sure to check out the under $30 dress selection too while you are there. I’m loving the new color palettes.

New Ballerina Girls Raincoat and Gear from Kidorable (with Giveaway)

She was not in a co-operative mood for pics when I shot these, but they do give you an idea of the Ballerina raincoat in action. I may need to get her the matching Ballerina Rain Boots to go with it
