Squinkies Review and Giveaway: Tiny Toys that Fascinate

Squinkies are tiny soft and flexible dolls, which can be used with a wide array of accessories, or simply sit on the end of a pencil, to keep your child company at school. In preparation for this review, my daughter and I have,  been playing with Squinkies , for about a month now, and I was actually surprised by the level of continued fascination she has had with these toys. 

Each doll comes inside it’s own, bubble case making it easy for them to dispense out of the gumball machine like “houses” available for them.  The Gumball Surprise Playhouse was a particularly big hit with my daughter.  My only issue is that it only comes with 2 coin tokens to operate it, and I could see these easily getting lost. 

The tiny Squinkie dolls and their accessories are all compact in size.  In the picture below the Shopping Fun Surprise “purse” can be seen, which would be a great way for your child to tote a few pets along , to keep them from getting bored at restaurants or waiting areas .   The jewelry options could be good for this purpose, as well.

My daughter is particularly hard to find toys for, at least ones that will keep her interested for more than a day.  She has autism, so many times, she doesn’t quite “get” how to play with many toys.  She took right to Squinkies though.  There was something about the intricacy of these miniature dolls and all the accessories, which really connected with her.

I am very happy that I chose to review these toys.  To be honest with you, if I had seen them in the store I would have passed them by, and chose something else that my daughter would have ignored after 15 minutes.  Reviewing Squinkies has actually given me a little extra insight into the kinds of toys my daughter will enjoy.

The full line just became available in stores nationwide, so you can get them now too. 

Verdict: By this point I am sure you are well aware that Squinkies are getting a positive review.  They are great toys, that offer tons of different ways for children to play with them.
