I was just a little over one year old when Dr. King was assassinated. Growing up his legacy was still very fresh. I hope the kids today still see the strength and wisdom in his words.
Not only was Martin Luther King Jr. a major force in the Civil Right’s Movement, but also the Poor People’s Campaign. He fought for all Americans to be able to live with dignity.
A nation or civilization that continues to produce soft-minded men purchases its own spiritual death on the installment plan.
