O-Cedar ProMist Review | O-Cedar ProMist Floor Cleaning System Great for Quick Clean-Ups

I tried out the new O-Cedar ProMist for review, this week, and I must say it is handy for quick clean-ups on hard surface floors.  I liked it for my bathroom in particular, which is a 1930′s design and not very roomy.  The ProMist was easy to get into small areas, and picked up the stray bits of lint, etc, that tend to collect in corners.  It is a wet or dry cleaning system, which uses water, or your diluted cleaning solution of choice.  While the microfiber pad would be great for swiping off dust in areas frequented by a baby, in my house I used it for wet cleaning only, damp mop style.

O Cedar Promist reviewThe refillable bottle detaches from the mop handle, and the red cap on the top easily screws off, to fill with water or solution.  I filled mine with warm water, and just added a couple squirts of eco-friendly disinfecting bathroom cleaner.  This mopping solution proved to be quite effective when used in the O-Cedar ProMist.  The spray mist wets the floor directly in front of the pad, and is quickly swiped up by the microfiber, so it is an excellent choice for hardwoods, or when you need the floor to be dry soon after cleaning.

I am prone to pain in my right hand, but found the handle and spray trigger on the  ProMist to be comfortable to use.  There is a comfort grip on the handle also, for a soft grip while mopping.  The light weight of this mop would be something an elderly person could handle too.  This would actually be an excellent system for older people.

The ProMist is eco-friendly, as well.  It enables you to use just water or a very diluted cleaning solution to clean your floors rather than a mop and bucket full of chemical laden cleaner.  The microfiber cleaning pad, can simply be thrown in the wash, and reused over and over, rather than disposable pads, like some systems use.

Verdict: I probably would not have grabbed this O-Cedar product in store, but I am glad I was able to try it.  I love it, that I no longer have to get on my hands and knees to clean the little  nooks of my bathroom floor, now that the ProMist gets in there great .  It is also  easier to store between uses.

Disclosure: While I received a product sample for the purpose of this review, all opinions presented here are my own, and no monetary compensation was given.

It’s such a challenge holding a squirt bottle in one hand, a mop in the other and fend off little ones in the process while you’re trying to clean the floor. I like the No Scratch Scrunge. It’s equally good for my non stick pans and my bathtub. It’s efficient without me having to worry about scratching the surfaces.
