I just checked out a website called My Well-Being, Powered by Humana.  It is a pretty interesting site, that takes an all-inclusive view of health and wellness.  They focus not just on physical health, but mental emotional and financial as well.  All these factors strongly effect our overall well being, so it does make quite a bit of sense.

Sign-up is easy, and just for doing so you will have the option of selecting a FREE Dummies book.  The print edition will be sent to you at no charge.  After you have done the basic sign-up, there is a questionaire you can fill out.  It doesn’t take very long and the results score you on : Health, Money, People & Play.  I did well on health, but poorly on people.  Considering that I have been on a healthy eating regime for some time now, and my husband and I seperated last year, the results were expected. Once you have completed the questionaire, the site will then steer you toward the articles on it that will benefit you most .. sort of like being on auto-navigate.

In addition to articles the site also has many other features.  There is a coping tool, to help you deal with stress in your life, and a tool called the iTriage Symptom Checker, which will help you make informed descisions about medical issues.  There are online brain games to help you keep sharp, a collection of useful videos and even a marketplace.

The site is free, so even if you find a few of the features helpful, it is worth checking out.
