Make Your Own Shareable Mini Digital Books with Britely

brightly logoBrightly is fun new way to present content, in the format of short pretty digital books. I only just heard about this free site recently myself, through another blogger Kidsumers, who has been building some nice digital travel books with the service. It is also a wonderful format for presenting many other stories and topics as well. Images for the books can be pulled from various social media and image sites, or straight from your own files, and with the easy online software, only take a few minutes to put together.

Once you have assembled and published your “Brite” (what they call these online mini-books), it is easy to share via social media or email. If you are a blogger you can even embed the books right onto your site, like I have below. In addition to being a creative tool for telling stories or compiling content, Britely is also somewhat of a social media platform itself, since users have the ability to follow each others accounts. I am sure those that regularly build lovely well compiled books, will quickly build loyal followings.

One of the particular things I like about these digital books is their automatic links to image sources. If you look on the left above the book I have here, you will see a link to my Britely account, as well as, one to the original recipe blog post of the cover image. All the inner page images are also linked back too.

I am thinking of putting a Brite of the week, as a feature on MomFoodie.com, once I get the layout more squared away there. What do you think?
