Just because it’s the Super Bowl, doesn’t mean you have to throw your healthy eating resolutions out the window for the day.  Sure you may indulge a little more, but a little preparation &  steering toward smarter choices can keep you from a major derailment.  Dips in particular have a way of piling on extra fat and calories on, without providing a whole lot of nutrition in return.  Team them up with some crackers & chops and your snacks could quickly “out weigh”  a typical meal.

    The Creamy Avocado Yogurt Dip sounds like something I’d really go for. It would probably be healthier with veggies, but I could see myself dipping some tortilla chips in it :)

    I love the black bean avocado dip, but this year mines needed a little more saltiness to it — it was just missing something. I think maybe I should have kicked up the lime content! Who knew but me? NOBODY – all gone! Thanks for the great dips
