Giveaway: $200 in Walmart Gift Cards + the #DibsOnMyRibs Pork Recipe Cookoff

Tender fall off the bone ribs with a sweet tangy sauce that has just a bit of heat, now that is something you may just have to fend off “predators” with your meat fork for.  Calling “Dibs” may not be sufficient!  Yes, ribs take a lot of time to get just right, but that doesn’t mean you need to spend a lot of time and effort on the prep work.  Grab a McCormick spice rub and some Kraft barbeque sauce, add a bit of your own flair, and you can whip together great ribs with ease.  The only torturous part will be the long wait for them to cook, but that is just how it is with good BBQ.

The pictures in this post are of the Tangy Sweet Aloha Spare Ribs I made last week for the Dibs on my Ribs! cookoff.  I don’t make ribs too often, it has actually been a few years, but these sure were a hit.  Do you fancy yourself one heck of a grill master? Does everyone rave about your ribs?  If so, you should definitely enter the Dibs on My Ribs Cookoff Contest.  Here is some more information about the contest.

Two Grand Prize winners will each receive a one year supply of groceries awarded as twelve $500 Wal-Mart gift cards. They will also have the opportunity to attend the Memphis in May BBQ Event in Memphis, TN.

Submit your original unpublished recipe must include pork spare ribs, at least one McCormick spice or seasoning product and Kraft BBQ sauce (unless you are submitting a rub recipe, then BBQ sauce requirement is waived) One entry per person per category (indoor or outdoor).  Contest ends August 12, 2012. (see contest rules for more information).
