On busy days, or when I want a nice snack for movie watching, I don’t want to fuss around making pizza from scratch. I also want a thinner crust than my homemade pizza. This is part of why Newman’s Own Thin & Crispy pizza is my go to frozen pizza brand.
I most often buy their Margarita pizza, but also buy the Uncured Pepperoni or Four Cheese varieties, occasionally (depending on who else will be sharing). This great tasting pizza, is nice and crispy, and the thin crust means you get a nice dose of those yummy toppings before getting full.
When it comes to preparation, it doesn’t get much easier than this. No pan needed, just pop it straight on the oven rack and bake. In 10-12 minutes, it will be Pizza Time, and the family will be enjoying an all-natural crispy slice.
The taste and ease of preparing Newman’s Own pizza, would be enough reason for me to purchase the brand, but their is another important motivator for me. All profits from Newman’s Own brand products are donated to charity. They say mom’s often show their love through nourishing their family through food. By purchasing Newman’s Own, I am not just providing a delicious, all-natural meal, but also helping others beyond our dining table.
Newman’s Own strives for great taste and quality while promoting charity and doing good. In 1982, Paul Newman started a tiny boutique operation – parchment labels on wine bottles filled with Paul’s own homemade salad dressing. Paul gave these to his neighbors as holidays gifts and from there it continued to grow.Over the course of 30 years, Newman’s Own has earned over $400 million, all of which has been donated to a multitude of charities.
