Remember when picking your name… short is sweet.  Think of most of the big websites,  most are 7 letters or less.  I’m not saying you need to go with a made up name like I did, but brevity is good in domain names.  If you do decide to go with a made up name… it will be your own & will be easily brandable (vowels and double letters are considered to be more valuable).   Another good thing to do is add a keyword that matches your blog/site.  If you can’t find something short that works for you, a commonly searched phrase might be a good choice.    Use the  Google Adword Keyword Checker to see what people are searching for.  You can then take selections you like and plug them into the GoDaddy Bulk Domain Registration Page, to see which, if any are available.  Good Luck.
