Calling all moms, and foodie friends! Mezzetta, a family owned business in the Napa Valley is running a great recipe contest, called the Make That Sandwich Contest. It has a grand prize of $25,000! Now, that will buy a lot of sandwich fixins. The company makes peppers, olives, and specialty foods, and are looking for the most inventive sandwich made with Mezzetta products. Submissions must contain two products from: Mezzatta, Napa Valley Bistro and/or Kona Coast Brand.
At the time of this posting there are 32 days left to enter, so put on your creative thinking caps, and put together the winning sandwich. The contest is an annual thing, so if you are looking for inspiration, or just want to avoid submitting something they have already seen, check out the recipes on the Mezzetta website.
This is the perfect contest for moms, who always seem to be packing a sandwich, for someone. The deadline to enter Mezzetta’s Make That Sandwich Contest, is Labor Day. So while you have plenty of time to tweak you sandwich recipe, before submission, don’t dawdle. Start thinking out of the box, and Good Luck!
