To celebrate the launch, of the exclusive Liz Claiborne Fall collection at JCPenney, the Manhattan store along with Tim Gunn, had a big fashion show.  My husband and I got to get in on the fun, at home, with Liz Claiborne fashions.  We had a little show of our own, and JCPenney has generously offered a $100 gift card for giveaway, as well.

One of the things I like best about the ladies clothing line from Liz Claiborne is that no one is left out.  While many designer lines really won’t work for real people, the Claiborne lines include plus and petite options for many of the styles.  Being a plus size girl, I love the stylish yet practical options this clothing line offers. 

Here are two of my favorite outfits from our home fashion show. The Liz Claiborne jeans were very comfortable, and although they had the nice flat pockets of jeans, the styling and fall of the leg was like slacks.  The zip neck sweater was super comfy, not one bit itchy, and I loved the added versatility of the zipper.  The print top actually has a polyester under-layer with nylon topper.  This helps it skim the body without clinging anywhere, and keeps it wrinkle free, as well.   These practical fashions will still look fresh at the end of a busy day.

I also particularly loved the pearl embellishment on the collar of this blouse.  It would make a perfect option for work to evening wear. 

My husband is a very casual guy, so although the men’s Claiborne line had some fantastic dress shirts and slacks, he really wanted some more stylish alternatives to throwing on a tee shirt.  The Drop Needle Crewneck Shirt has a textured ribbing, giving it a bit of a style boost, over the common Tee.  It would definitely work well under a casual blazer.  He really liked the  red polo shirt, and if he hadn’t insisted I cut his head off, you could see how well it goes with his coloring…. and no, he is not on America’s Most Wanted. 

We enjoyed our little fashion show, and were both impressed with the quality and comfort of the clothes in this line.
